What is the cancellation policy?

Cancelled sessions require  24 hours notice in order not to be charged for the scheduled counselling session. If less than 24 hours is given, the full fee of the counselling session will be applied. 

What is the confidentiality policy?

Confidentiality is of the utmost importance in a healthy counselling relationship and what is shared within your session remains confidential.

There are some important exceptions that, by law, I am required  to report on, they are as follows:​

• Keeping children and youth safe. If it is disclosed that a child or youth may be at risk of danger, the appropriate authorities will be contacted.
• Keeping the client safe. If during any counselling sessions (including the consultation) the client mentions harming self, the appropriate authorities will be contacted.
• Court case. The client's file can be used in court if subpoenaed by a judge.

How can I pay for my session?

Payment by cash, personal cheque, electronic funds transfer, and credit card.
